Guy at a garage sale sold me a VHS of 'The Room' for $2
He said it was the worst movie ever made but I had to watch it. I popped it in that night and couldn't stop laughing at the football scene. Has anyone else found a bad movie gem at a random garage sale?

Actually that football scene is from "The Room" but the movie was released in 2003, not on VHS. It never got a proper VHS release, just DVD and later Bluray. So whoever sold you that probably burned it onto a blank tape or it's some weird bootleg copy. Still a great find for two bucks though, the movie is a masterpiece of terrible filmmaking.

Wait, they actually made a bootleg VHS of The Room? That's almost more impressive than the movie itself. Wonder if Tommy Wiseau would find that flattering or confusing.
