Can we talk about how my bad movie night turned into a 6 hour marathon because of one DVD?
So my buddy swings by my place in Akron with this beat up DVD he grabbed at a garage sale, no case, just the disc. Turns out it was a copy of "Leprechaun 4: In Space" and we figured hey, 90 minutes, a few laughs, done by 9. We ended up watching it twice, then he pulls out his phone and orders "Troll 2" on demand, then "The Room" after that. Next thing I know it is 3 in the morning and we have burned through 4 movies and half a frozen pizza, and my dog is just staring at us like we lost our minds. The part where Warwick Davis does the weird space wedding thing had us on the floor, no joke, we rewound it 3 times. It was one of the best nights I have had in a long while and it cost us basically nothing. Now I am chasing that high again and I need help. What is your go to flick when you want that same kind of so bad it is great vibe? Bonus points if it is streaming free somewhere.
Why do you keep chasing that high instead of just accepting it was a one time thing? The magic wasnt Leprechaun 4 itself, it was the whole setup, the garage sale disc, your buddy showing up out of nowhere, the frozen pizza, the dog judging you. If you sit down next weekend planning to recreate it with some other bad movie, odds are you will just be bored by hour two and checking your phone. Half the fun of a so bad its good movie is that you didnt know what you were walking into, so the best move might be to stop hunting for it and let the next random disc find you.
