My string light project took 6 weekends longer than the 2 hours I planned
Turns out the fence posts were solid concrete under 3 inches of dirt and my $40 drill bit died on post three, has anyone else hit a hidden footing that killed a whole afternoon?

Borrow a hammer drill from someone, total game changer! Concrete footings are the worst surprise, but once you punch through with a rotary hammer it takes like two minutes per post. Worth the awkward call to your neighbor who owns actual tools.
