Warning: Our ABM campaign tanked after we ignored sales team feedback for 3 weeks
We spent $12,000 on a targeted account list for a Chicago tech launch but missed 80% of our targets because the sales team knew the real decision-makers were in different departments, and they told us upfront but we didn't listen.

Playing devil's advocate here - the sales team might have been wrong too. A $12k account list should have had some value if you actually vetted it before buying. Maybe the sales team was just protecting their turf or didn't want to work a different strategy. Sometimes you gotta trust the data over gut feelings from people who are used to doing things the old way.

@lee627 I tried something similar a while back and ended up splitting the list with the sales team to test it... we each took half and compared results after a month. Turned out the data was solid but needed some tweaking on the follow-up side.
