Thought LinkedIn ads were a total scam until our first $2k deal came through

I was so sure B2B LinkedIn ads were just throwing money into a void. Then we ran a tiny $500 test targeting CTOs at mid-size SaaS firms and a lead closed for $2,100 within 2 weeks. Anybody else have a platform they swore off that ended up performing?

My buddy runs a small MSP and he was dead set against Facebook ads for B2B, said it was for selling t-shirts and nothing else. He finally caved and ran a $300 test targeting IT managers at local school districts, and within a month he had a $12k contract for a network refresh. Now he's all in on Facebook, goes on about it every time we grab a beer.

Hate to break it to your buddy but we all go through that phase. I was the same way until I threw $200 at targeting local manufacturers and got a 5 figure deal out of it. Now I'm that guy at happy hour telling everyone they're wrong about Facebook ads. It's like a weird support group for skeptics who got proven wrong.
