Warning: spent $340 on an "aviation grade" crimper that turned out to be the same Taiwan tool as the $28 one
Bought it from a tool truck guy in Fort Worth six months ago because he swore the ratchet mechanism was rated for shielded cable, and the dies chewed up three cannon plugs before I put a mic on it and found the same part number stamped under the sticker as the cheap one, so has anyone found a brand that actually holds tolerance on D-sub pins or am I stuck doing them by hand?
