Overheard a line guy at DFW say the plane could wait, and it got me thinking about our sign-offs
Was grabbing coffee near gate C12 last Tuesday and heard a ramp guy tell a new hire the plane can sit, Avionics does not get rushed. That one stuck with me because I have been guilty of signing off a squawk just to clear the dash before shift change. It made me wonder how many of my quick turns were really solid. Curious if other shops have a rule about no pencil whipping after 10 hours, or is that just me being paranoid now?
