Called BS on that $40 ultrasonic cleaner from Harbor Freight but it actually got my fuel injectors spotless after 3 cycles.
Ran a set of injectors from a 5.3 in there with some Simple Green and the carbon just fell off, has anyone else had luck with cheap ultrasonic cleaners or did I just get lucky?

Told my buddy to try the same thing on his old 22RE injectors and two cycles in a crusty one started spraying a perfect pattern again. He was shocked it worked.

Watching a crusty injector come back to life is always satisfying, isn't it? I've seen that happen a few times on old toyota engines too. Its wild how much gunk builds up after sitting for years. A few good cleaning cycles can really wake them back up.
