I was sure my old 3M sanding block could handle one more quarter panel job, but it fell apart halfway through a 2018 F-150 repair yesterday.
The backing just crumbled into dust, so I had to run to the supply house for a new one and lost almost an hour on the clock, which convinced me to stop pushing my luck with worn-out tools. Anyone have a favorite brand for blocks that last?

Yeah, that tool loyalty thing happens everywhere. People get stuck on brands for phones, cars, even coffee makers. When does sticking with what you know become a bad move?
