A retired painter told me to use a heat gun on a stubborn quarter panel adhesive, and after 15 minutes of careful work, it peeled off clean as a whistle.

He said to keep it moving on low heat about 6 inches back, and now I'm curious if anyone has a different method for that factory seam sealer on newer Hondas?

Wait, a heat gun for 15 minutes straight on a panel? That paint must have been cooking.

So that low heat trick worked, but @fisher.kevin has a point about the paint. What's your go-to for getting it off without baking the clear coat?
