Blew a belt on my Polaris last Saturday and the whole ride fell apart...

After 4 seasons of never changing that drive belt, I swapped it for a new Gates belt and my sled pulls way harder up the hills now, has anyone else noticed how much difference a fresh belt makes on the trail?
