Remember when people actually gave directions instead of just yelling 'use GPS'?
Back in 2018 I asked a gas station clerk near Des Moines for help finding a county road and he drew me a whole map on a napkin. Last week I asked the same thing in Ohio and the guy just shrugged and pointed at his phone. Has anyone else noticed how quick people are to hand you a screen instead of just telling you the way?

lol it sounds like a hassle but honestly GPS is way more accurate than some rando's directions. I once got sent 20 miles out of the way because some well meaning guy said "turn left at the old barn" and that barn had been torn down for years. Maps on napkins get lost in pockets or rained on and then youre stuck. Letting technology do its thing saves everyone time and stops people from getting frustrated when you zone out halfway through their instructions.
