My friend spent all afternoon trying to fix his sink with a forum guide. The steps were wrong for his plumbing setup and he almost caused a leak. He finally called his uncle, a retired handyman, who sorted it out in ten minutes. Sometimes the old way of asking someone who knows just saves a huge headache.

I mean I noticed this at the hardware store last week, nobody talks to the staff for advice anymore. We just pull out our phones and stand there in the aisle.

Ask staff, they fix problems fast like masonr48's uncle did.
