Just hit 100 answers posted in this community

I started just trying to help with a few questions, but hitting that number made me realize how much I've learned from you all. Has anyone else been surprised by a small milestone like that?

Hey, that's awesome! A hundred answers is a big deal. What was the hardest question you had to figure out before you could answer it?

Remember reading a post about the Dunning-Kruger effect, where people new to a topic don't know enough to see the gaps in their own knowledge. The hardest questions for me are the ones that seem simple at first. You start typing a reply, then realize you need to double-check a core fact, and that leads you down a rabbit hole of research. That process of having to question my own basic understanding has taught me more than any easy answer. Hitting a hundred posts really shows how often I had to go look things up before feeling sure enough to hit submit.

Trying to explain how a microwave works. Thought I knew the basics about water molecules and radiation. Ended up reading about magnetrons and standing waves for an hour just to give a two sentence answer.
