People keep saying the 1997 Berserk anime covers the whole Golden Age arc, and it stops right at the worst possible spot
I rewatched all 25 episodes in two nights and the ending literally cuts off mid scene during the Eclipse, so anyone telling new fans it wraps the arc is setting them up for a bad time. The 2012 movies actually finish that part, which is how I know. What do you tell someone who wants to start Berserk without reading it?

Movies cut more than the show does honestly, ending still feels abrupt.
