Had to pick between subbing or dubbing for my first full anime watch

I went with subbed for Attack on Titan because my buddy said the acting was better, but after 3 episodes I kept missing details while reading. Has anyone else switched mid-series and regretted it?

Did your friend ever admit they missed stuff too when they switched to dubbed?

Yeah she totally did. Said she missed some background chatter and little side jokes that just got lost in translation.
