Update: I almost told a guy no on a $2,400 job, glad my wife made me meet him first
I run a small screen printing shop off 6th Ave here in Amarillo. Last month a guy called about 300 shirts for a family reunion and I was ready to pass because the order felt too small to bother with. My wife said just go meet him at the shop on Buchanan, so I did. He pulled out a wrinkled photo of his grandma and said he wanted her recipe printed on the back in her own handwriting. We sat there for an hour picking ink colors and I ended up charging him $2,400 total. He cried a little when I showed him the first proof. Now I take every small order call in person. Any other shop owners here change how they screen new jobs because of one customer?
