Tried the Route 66 Farmers Market booth for 3 months, sales tanked 40%

We run a small salsa biz out of Canyon and decided to try the Route 66 Farmers Market every Saturday back in June. First month was great, maybe 25 jars a weekend, but by August we were lucky to sell 10. Turned out most of our regulars switched to the new indoor market on 6th Street since it's air conditioned. Learned the hard way that foot traffic doesn't equal loyal customers here. Anyone else see a big drop when a new spot opens up down the road?

Heard my buddy's honey stand lose half its steady crowd when a coffee shop opened next door.
