I stopped by that new coffee shop on Georgia Street and saw their prices
Everyone says to support local, but their basic drip coffee is over $5. That's more than a gallon of gas here in town. How can a small business expect to build regular customers with prices like that?

Is five bucks for plain coffee weirdly expensive? Absolutely. But I paid $8 for a pour over at a place last week and it came in a beaker like I was in a chemistry lab. I drank it feeling real smart but also kind of a sucker.

Five bucks for plain coffee is actually wild. That's not supporting local, that's getting robbed. Good luck getting people to come back for that.

Seriously? That price covers the rent, the staff, and the whole EXPERIENCE. It's not just the coffee.
