Thought those $20 LED shop lights from Menards would be junk but theyve been running 6 months straight no flicker

Yeah I've got a few of those same lights in my garage and they've held up way better than I expected too. The thing is you gotta make sure the connections are snug on the daisy chain plugs or they'll start flickering after a few months. Also if they're in a cold space like an unheated garage let them warm up for a minute before you flip the switch or the ballast can crap out early. I just replaced one that got knocked around moving boxes but the rest are still going strong after two years.

Got a buddy who put those in his chicken coop and now the hens think it's always daylight. Laid eggs like crazy through the whole winter though, so I guess it worked out. Now he's worried the light bill is more than the egg money.
