That cheap caulk gun from Big Lots cost me $80 in wasted sealant
Picked up a bargain caulk gun for $6.99 back in May to redo the bathroom tub and shower seams. The plunger snapped on the third tube, so I had to toss out three full $20 cartridges of silicone. Anyone else learned the hard way that buying the cheap tool just doubles your costs on the second trip to the hardware store?

The math on that is a bit off though. The sealant isn't wasted because the gun broke, it just means you gotta finish those tubes with a new gun. Still sucks to lose the $7, but the silicone is still good.
