The panel swap in Fargo that made me stop trusting factory wiring diagrams
Back in 2016 I was doing a takeover on an old bank building in downtown Fargo and the existing panel had a wiring diagram taped inside that was dead wrong from the factory, two zones crossed and a ground run to the wrong terminal. I spent 4 hours chasing a phantom fault before I figured it out, and now I meter every single wire before I trust any paperwork, even on brand new cans. Anyone else get burned by a diagram that looked legit but was printed wrong, or am I just unlucky?
