Shoutout to the old timer who told me to double-check the torque on those new fuel line fittings

I thought it was overkill, but sure enough, found two that were a full 15 inch-pounds under spec after the initial install. Anyone else have a 'trust but verify' story from the hangar?

Can you ever really call that overkill?

Depends on the project. For a small deck, a framing nailer is perfect. For building a shed, you'd want something heavier duty. The right tool just makes the job faster and cleaner.

But where do you draw the line between heavy duty and just plain too much? Like, is there a point where a bigger nailer actually makes the job worse because it's too awkward or damages the wood?
