Had a buddy named Mike who worked at a shop in Amarillo back in the early 2000s. He was changing a cylinder on a Cessna 310 and had the torque wrench set perfect, but he kept second guessing himself. Musta checked that bolt three times before his lead walked over and said "son, you passed the torque check the first time, now you're just wearing out the threads." Mike said that stuck with him more than any classroom lesson ever did.
