I finally got my AI image prompt workflow under 10 tries
Used to spend 40 minutes feeding Midjourney and DALL-E random word combos until something looked right, mostly for client mockups since last winter. Now I write a base description, then add one constraint at a time like lighting or camera angle, and I landed a usable hero image on try number 3 last Tuesday. Anyone else find that breaking prompts into single variable tweaks beats the old kitchen sink approach?

That's a really smart way to look at it. The whole "single variable tweaks" thing reminds me of how people cook. You don't dump every spice in the cabinet into a pot and hope it tastes good. You add salt, taste it, then maybe a little garlic, taste again. Same idea with these prompts, you change one thing and you actually learn what does what. It's the difference between guessing and understanding, and that carries over to a lot of things, not just pictures.
