The client in Tempe who wanted a perfect finish but kept the AC off

Honestly that "skip on the prep" thing is so real. My buddy tried to paint his whole apartment in one weekend to save on a hotel. He didn't tape anything or use drop cloths, just went for it. Spilled a whole tray of dark gray paint on the brand new carpet. The cleaning bill was more than a week at the hotel would have been. He fought the whole process and it cost him big time.

Had to choose between a new hoist rope splice or a full replacement on a 15-year-old traction unit.

We had our lead tech handle it in-house, he's done a few hundred of these. The plan is a visual check every shift and a full pull test during the next scheduled maintenance in six months. It's holding fine so far, but we keep a spare section of line ready to go just in case. Nerves are normal, but a good splice on solid cable should outlast the rest of the machine.

My failed attempt at the viral watermelon and feta trend

Remember when my friend bought that weird sheep milk feta?

Finally got that weird section view for a custom bracket to work after three days of trial and error.

My sections look like a toddler drew them.

I always thought asking broad questions got better answers, but a client in Phoenix proved me wrong.

Hold up, you're telling me a broad question never works? Try asking a forum how to start a vegetable garden. If you only ask about fixing one specific yellow leaf, you'll miss the big picture on soil and sunlight that causes all the problems. @gavink95 might fix his floorboard, but he won't learn why the whole floor squeaks. Sometimes you need the wide view to solve the real issue, not just a quick fix that fails later.
