My couch-based epiphany (after a streaming marathon) is that broadcast TV's weekly schedule created better storytelling tension.

Forced weekly waits made television narratives more memorable than binge-watching.

I mean yeah it's a weird take but is it really that deep? People have random thoughts all the time that don't hold up, doesn't mean it's some huge deal. Just sounds like a half-baked idea someone had and ran with for a minute.

Sounds like someone's epiphany was built on some shaky foundation... reminds me of the time a client tried to convince me that asphalt shingles were a suitable roofing material for a skyscraper.
