Yogurt before the fire noodle bowl totally worked for me

Just learned dairy can calm down spice. Tried plain yogurt before a big eat-off. Had a full cup thirty minutes prior. The usual instant burn was way milder. I ate the whole spicy bowl. Did not need milk or water. My crew was shocked at the result. This trick is my new secret weapon.

My cousin swears by eating a slice of bread before tackling hot wings. He claims the starch helps block the heat somehow. Never thought to try yogurt, but now I'm curious.

You ate a full cup of yogurt beforehand? That's wild... I'd be too full to even start the noodles.

Wow, I totally used to think you could only fight spice with milk during the meal. I'd always have a glass ready and just gulp it down between bites of hot curry. But trying the yogurt beforehand is a complete game changer. It's like it puts a protective layer in your stomach or something. I did the same thing with some ghost pepper salsa last week and barely broke a sweat.
