Dropped $800 on Facebook ads that got me zero calls

Ran a targeted campaign for my electrical shop in Phoenix last month. Thought I had the demographics nailed but the clicks went to a dead end landing page I threw together in 20 minutes. Anyone else burned cash on ads without testing the funnel first?

Take a breath, you lost 800 bucks not 80 grand. Probably worth kicking the tires on a landing page before you go all in next time.

My nephew just did the same thing with his pressure washing business in Scottsdale. Spent $600 on Google ads but his website phone number was wrong for three weeks. It's like people buy a new drill but never check if the bit fits the screw, you know? We rush to spend money on the flashy part but skip the boring setup work that actually makes things work.
