Posting my sketchbook online got mixed reactions over including scribbles versus final art.
Some folks like seeing the rough drafts for insight, while others find it distracting, so where do you fall?

Actually, scribbles hide the real work and should be cleaned up.

I heard a talk where someone said scrubbing away scribbles misses the point. Those rough sketches show the trial and error that led to the final piece. Isn't the process just as important as the outcome? When you clean it all up, you hide the hard parts that made it good. I read that in some fields, they keep the drafts to teach others. So scribbles aren't hiding work, they're showing the real work.
