I finally nailed my pre-dive warm-up and it paid off in Cozumel

No more leg cramps at depth, which made everything smoother. What's your go-to routine before hitting the water?

Nailing your pre-dive warm-up is impressive, mine usually involves tripping over my own fins, any tips for the clumsy?

My friend Lisa swears by laying all her gear out backwards on the boat deck before suiting up. It makes you move more intentionally so you don't trip over your own feet later. Seriously, a mindful setup can save you from most pre-dive clumsiness.

Lisa's method sounds brilliant until you realize you put your tank on upside down, lmao.

Glad to hear your warm-up worked so well, especially avoiding those leg cramps. @betty315's point about clumsiness is relatable, but it sounds like you've moved beyond that. What specific stretches or movements did you incorporate to target leg cramps? I'm curious if you adjusted your routine for the conditions in Cozumel, like accounting for currents or water temperature. For me, a thorough warm-up makes all the difference in feeling confident underwater. Could you walk us through the exact sequence you used, maybe even how long it takes?
