Clearing out my basement to make a hobby space. Discovered old insulation falling apart behind a wall. Might be asbestos. Professional testing costs a bunch, cash is low. Thought about just boxing it in with drywall and forgetting it. Feels like cutting corners, could be risky. My pal says leave it alone and it's harmless. Not convinced, feels like a moral call.
