Three duct boots installed backwards on a new build in Phoenix

Walked a house yesterday where the installer put the boots in upside down so the airflow hits the back of the drywall before the register. Took me 20 minutes to fix each one and the homeowner paid for a "professional" install. How do these guys pass inspection without testing static pressure?

@wright.jesse nah drywall diffusing airflow just hides the real problem of backwards installs.

Is it possible the drywall actually helps diffuse the airflow better than a direct blast into the register? I've seen some guys argue that hitting the back wall first prevents whistling and drafts, especially in a dry climate like Phoenix where the air is just so thin.
