Thunder Peak trail users, the main creek ford is dangerously undercut after spring runoff...

I crossed it this morning and the bank on the far side has collapsed into the current... It's a hidden drop-off now, totally unstable underfoot. Who do we contact to get a temporary reroute marked before someone gets hurt?

Forest Service handles trail reroutes on federal land there.

Call the local ranger district right when they open. Ask for the trails guy, he usually knows how to speed things up. Did that and got my reroute approved way faster.
