Vent: Used to avoid razors, now they're my go-to for texture
I only used shears for cuts for years. Believed razors made hair frizzy and weak. Then I saw a video online. A stylist used a razor on straight, fine hair. The lift and movement were insane. I tested it on a practice mannequin. The results blew my mind. Now I reach for my razor all the time. My styles have way more life. Complete one-eighty for me.

Have you actually TRIED it on the right hair type? I was in the same boat, thought it was all hype and would wreck the hair. Saw that same kind of video and figured I had to see for myself. The way it thins the ends and creates that piecey, soft texture is NOT something shears can do. It gives this crazy volume and movement that looks totally different. I went from skeptic to believer real fast.
