Naps for the win. Freelancing without naps is a sure path to burnout. I used to fight the afternoon slump with coffee, but a 20-minute shut-eye works better. My clients probably prefer me slightly rested over fully caffeinated and jittery. It's not lazy, it's smart time management for weird work hours. Glad someone else is spreading the nap gospel.

Exactly, treating a nap like a meeting with your own brain changes everything. It's not lost time, it's a reset button that makes the hours after it way more useful. There's actual science about how a short sleep can clear out mental clutter before it builds up. Pushing through foggy afternoons always leads to worse work that takes longer to fix later.
