Absolutely! That silence is the worst part of home inspections. My inspector once pointed out faulty wiring while the seller was standing right there, and nobody said a word for a full minute. You could just feel the anger from the seller and the embarrassment in the room. It totally changes the vibe of the whole day!

Was it just me or does that silence feel super loud? I had an inspector find a cracked heat exchanger with the old owners right there, and the wife looked like she was gonna cry. The husband just stared at the floor. We all just stood around the furnace not knowing where to look. It completely killed the friendly chat we had going before that. Makes you want to just vanish into the floorboards.
