Overheard two guys at the coffee shop absolutely trashing the 'Game of Thrones' ending again

I was grabbing a latte this morning and the two dudes next to me were going off. One said, 'They built up the Night King for eight seasons and he dies like that? It was a joke.' The other guy just kept saying 'Bran? Really?' It got me thinking about my own finale anger. I invested years in that show, watching every episode the night it aired. The final season felt so rushed, like they just wanted to be done. Characters I loved for a decade made choices that made zero sense to me. It's been a few years now, but hearing them talk brought all that disappointment right back. Has anyone else found that a show's bad ending kinda ruins the whole re-watch for you?

Oh man, that "Bran? Really?" line is exactly how I felt! I was yelling at my TV. It totally ruined re-watches for me because now I know all these cool early scenes and hints lead to basically nothing. Why should I care about the White Walker mystery when the payoff is that bad? It makes the whole journey feel pointless. I haven't been able to watch a single episode since the finale aired.

Just focus on the early seasons, they still hold up.

Why do so many endings feel rushed now?
