Took me 45 minutes to figure out my dishwasher wasn't draining because of a bent hose under the sink
Ngl I spent way too long watching YouTube videos and taking the filter apart before I noticed the drain hose got kinked when I shoved stuff back under there. Fixed it in 5 seconds by straightening the hose out. Has anyone else wasted a whole afternoon on something that dumb?

That note idea is actually genius because I guarantee I'll do the exact same thing again in a few months. Last week I spent an hour flipping breakers because I couldn't figure out why my garbage disposal wasn't working, only to find out the switch under the sink got bumped to off. It's always the stupidest fixes that take the longest to find.

Tape a note to the underside of the sink so you remember to check the hose next time.
