Why does nobody talk about airport security dumping out my serums?
I had a whole travel case organized and they made me open everything. Now I'm worried about contamination and shelf life!

Dumping out serums is just security following rules. Your shelf life concern is minor if you reseal them quick.

What about the ENVIRONMENTAL mess from dumping serums? Security just follows rules, but all that plastic and liquid ends up in landfills. @luna_grant9 brought up germs, but wasted resources is a HUGE problem too. Resealing fast might help shelf life, but it doesn't stop the pure waste of tossing full bottles. Those chemicals can leak out and pollute stuff. We need to ask for smarter rules that don't create so much trash.
