Spent $85 on that hyaluronic acid serum everyone raves about...

Turns out my skin hates hyaluronic acid in dry weather... it actually sucked moisture OUT and made me peel. Has anyone else had better luck with glycerin-based serums instead?

Classic skincare bait and switch. Spending nearly a hundred bucks just to look like a shedding lizard isn't the glow up I was hoping for. Has glycerin actually helped you with keeping moisture in without that dry air sucking it out?

Glycerin based stuff saved my face when I moved somewhere with dry winters. Simple Neutrogena hydro boost glycerin gel works way better for me than any fancy HA serum.
