Rant: That $45 Lactic Acid Serum That Burned My Face Off
I spent $45 on a 10% lactic acid serum from a boutique brand thinking it'd give me a gentle glow. Instead, it left me with red, peeling skin for three days straight. Anyone else gotten burned by an acid that promised to be 'gentle'?

Dilute it with your moisturizer" - does that actually work for the active ingredients though? I tried mixing my retinol with lotion once and it felt like I wasn't getting any results after a month. What kind of moisturizer are you using with it? Like a basic CeraVe or something with niacinamide already in it? Seems like that could mess with the formula.
