Had a client last week who made me rethink my whole approach to acne treatments
She told me she'd been using a basic Cetaphil cleanser for years and her skin was way clearer than with all the fancy stuff I was recommending. Made me wonder if I've been overcomplicating things for my clients.

Had a client last week who made me rethink my whole approach" - I totally get that feeling. Those moments where a client casually drops a truth bomb can really knock you off your chair. It's humbling but honestly kind of refreshing to realize sometimes the simplest routine works best, even if it hurts our professional pride a little.

Buddy of mine had something similar happen. He runs a small IT shop and was trying to sell this big fancy security system to a retired guy who just wanted to check his email. Client basically said "I just want it to work like my old computer did without all the bells and whistles." Friend was pretty embarrassed at first because he'd been pitching hard on all these extra features nobody asked for. In the end he set up the simplest possible setup and the guy was thrilled. He told me later that client taught him more about listening than any training class ever did.
