I just saw the Firefly episode count and it hit me

I was looking up something about spaceship designs for a model kit, and I saw that Firefly only had 14 episodes. I knew it was short, but I thought it was at least a full season, like 22 shows. Finding out it was less than half that on a wiki page really surprised me. I always wanted to see more of the Reaver backstory they hinted at in the movie. What other shows got cut off before they even hit 20 episodes?

Freaks and Geeks only got 18 episodes, which is a real shame. That show had so much more story to tell.

Ugh, tell me about it. They basically canceled it right as it was getting good, which is the network way. Classic case of too smart for the room.
