That's the worst. Had a client who kept turning off the breaker I was working on to run a blender. Makes the job take twice as long.

Ugh, that's maddening! I was wiring a new outlet once and the homeowner kept flipping the circuit back on to charge their phone... while I was holding the bare wires. Had to explain it like five times.

That "explain it like five times" part hits home. I once had to tape a note over the breaker box after a similar chat. Some folks just don't get how a live wire feels until they feel it.
