Old Foreman's trick about wire pulling finally clicked for me
I was on a 4th floor rough-in in Akron last Tuesday and this apprentice kept fighting a 90 degree bend, so I called my old foreman to ask how he'd run it. He told me to stop pulling and instead feed the wire in a loop while spinning the spool, not walking it out flat. He said 'the wire remembers the twist before you even start,' and after I tried it, that run took 15 minutes instead of an hour. Anyone else have a boss who taught you something that seemed dumb until it saved your back?

The wire remembers the twist", that's wild, I've never heard that before.
