First time using a torque screwdriver on a panel, my terminations never felt this solid

Been in residential work for about 5 years near Toledo and always just went by feel on breaker lugs and neutral bars. Last month I borrowed a calibrated torque screwdriver from a buddy who does commercial work and ran every termination in a 200 amp panel to spec. Honestly, the difference was noticeable right away, everything seated way tighter than I ever got it by hand. I checked a few of my older panels afterward with the same tool and found at least three breakers I had under tightened, probably not enough to arc but still worrying. Ngl, I think I'm going to buy my own set now, but I'm wondering if anyone else has seen actual failures from loose terminations or if this is more of a peace of mind thing for resi work. What do you all use for torque testing on the job, or is it just the commercial guys that bother?
