Heads up on the channel marker near Bayport, the silt buildup changed the whole approach in under a month

We were running the same cut for a maintenance dredge near that red #12 marker. Did it three weeks ago, no problem. Came back yesterday and the starboard ladder was practically buried. The current shifted after those big storms and it's pushing everything into that bend now. Had to adjust the swing and the spoil line angle completely. Anyone else working that stretch seeing this? What's your new setup looking like?

Sounds like you just hit a bad patch. That area has been stable for years.

Yeah I used to say the same thing about that whole block. But last week I saw three different storefronts with paper on the windows and a for lease sign. Makes you wonder what stable even means anymore.

Actually @jackson.kim, that whole channel's been shifting for months.
