Hot take: I gave up on 3D CAD for a simple bracket job and went back to pencil, no regrets
Last month a guy in Boise needed six angle brackets for a conveyor guard and I sketched them by hand in 20 minutes instead of firing up the CAD station. I delivered the drawings the next morning and he said they were the clearest set he had seen in years. Does anybody else still hand draw small jobs, or am I the last guy in the shop doing it?
