Had a day last week where every single measurement was spot on first try

I don't know what was in the air last Thursday but I laid out a full set of architectural drawings for a new office build and every dimension matched exactly on the first pass. Usually I'm chasing a half inch somewhere or rechecking a wall offset, but this time the whole thing just clicked. The senior drafter even double checked my work and gave me a nod instead of a red pen mark for once. Does anyone else ever get those random days where the coordination just flows and you don't have to fight AutoCAD or the math?

Spent 3 hours on a HVAC duct layout last Tuesday that fought me the entire way and then on Friday everything just snapped together like magic. I think the ghost of Frank Lloyd Wright blessed my mouse for a day or something. Probably used up all my luck for the next month though.

Heard a buddy who does steel detailing mention he had one of those days last spring where a whole truss layout just came together without a single adjust. He said it felt like the program was reading his mind, but by noon the next day he was back to fighting with mismatched bolt holes and bracket locations. In my experience, those clean days are just the universe luring you into a false sense of security.
